The Teal Door Cafe is one of the places in Indiranagar quite near to TOIT, which opens early in the morning. So, there was a time I was working on something other than my office work. I and my friend who lives in Indiranagar used to meet in The Teal Door Cafe early morning for some discussions, before our office timings. They have got charging plugs in the upstairs area, so you can have some coffee and snacks and work.
The Teal Door Cafe ambience is quite cosy. They have a variety of seating. Outside open seating. Ground floor and first-floor seating. The whole seating is wooden, with really pretty and colourful chair covers. They also have fairy lights inside, which makes the place even beautiful during evening and night times. Before these visits, I had visited The Teal Door Cafe once in the evening. It was really an okay experience.
I heard good reviews about their Nachos but sadly they were out of nachos by that time, even though we visited around 4-5 PM.
Chilli cheese fries: The taste was okay really. The quantity was good but too much oily and crunchy.
Cheese garlic bread: Didn’t like them at all. This dish was a waste of money. Very very crunchy. Baked for a longer time than required. The quantity of cheese was pretty less, to call it cheese garlic bread.
Cappuccino: Very good. The coffee actually came to the rescue for the day. That ambiance made the coffee even better.
Hot Chocolate: Liked this a lot too. Got great cocoa flavor, not very sweet. MUST TRY.
Mini Dosa Platter: Pretty good quantity for two people. We were literally full. The coconut chutney and sambhar both were really good, tasted like they were freshly prepared.
Ginger Tea: Very refreshing for early morning.
