The Park – Hyderabad

The Park – Hyderabad

This is the stay was really looking forward to. The Park is one of the best hotels in Hyderabad. The interiors of the hotel are quite fancy. They actually have a whole lounge bar inside the hotel. As you enter, by the time you get your room keys, they provide some refreshing cucumber or fruit water.

The swimming pool seating is set up so nicely, you’ll want to go sit there just enjoying the cold breeze, even if you don’t feel like swimming. At night time the poolside is the best sight. Great lighting and the open bar with a huge TV screen, it just calls out for a bottle of beer and lights up your mood.

The only and a big disappointment from Park is the swimming pool level is too high. My height is 5’2 and the level was 5. I was really looking forward to swimming but had to return unsatisfied. The pool bar and the lounge bar are actually open to outsiders too (people not staying in the hotel). The changing rooms for the swimming pool were LIT though. The women’s changing rooms had a huge jacuzzi.

The Park offers about 4-5 variety of rooms to choose from. We went for the lake view (Hussain Sagar) option. The room was really spacious and beautiful, with an amazing view. The best part of the room though, the beautiful oval bathtub and a huge flat-screen TV.

We opted to stay with the breakfast buffet option, so now I’ll start with the best part of my stay:

They have a huge spread. You name the dish and they have it. Not just a variety, the food was actually really good. Everything prepared very well and delicious.

The Star dish of the breakfast was the Hash Browns topped with Pouched eggs. I mean wow, I am so glad I got to try this dish here. Hashbrown brought that fried salty flavor, combined with the runny perfect round beautifully cooked poached egg.
Another favorite for me was the English breakfast spread. The chicken sandwich was really good and sausages and bacon.

Dosa and omelet orders were taken from the table itself. Actually, they had waiters everywhere, so you could order absolutely anything from the table. We ordered a Masala Dosa and some Aloo puri. Everything tasted great.

I loved chocolate donuts, muffins, chocolate croissants, sausages, bacon, and sandwiches. The chicken sandwich was my fav. They had sweet corn too. Which I generally don’t see in breakfast buffets.

Chocolate lassi, as exciting as it sounded to me, it was kind of disappointing, same with cold coffee, kind of tasteless.
They had delicious Muesli Yogurt flavors, really good. Chocolate croissants, prune danish puff and donuts made a perfect ending to the breakfast.
